Hakuna Matata 🔴

Of all the Lion King’s songs, Hakuna Matata is my favourite. I loved the scene of them walking across the log with the moon shining. To me it is a song of celebrating the moments when we can just feel free of all worries. Rare and pure. This piece was a challenge to create, from the look of leather to painting the scene on top of it. Getting the layers right for the cord that is weaved through it was tricky too. I honestly laughed doing the bugs! Adding the crystals to them was so much fun…who doesn’t love sparkling bugs??!
