At the age of 8, I announced to my parents and the world that I would quit school and become an artist. Although I now smile at this memory, it just goes to show how serious I was about art from an early age; 40 years later and that's still the case!

I was given the challenge to create a non-whimsical series of art. I really tried to do more “mature and serious” art but that all flew out the window when I couldn’t help myself from creating my big teeth fish and marshmallow flowers.
